In the first minute, neroli is released — the citrus flower of the orange tree, which has adorned gardens in Turkish palaces for centuries. Neroli gives the space a fresh, slightly honeyed, sunny trail, like what you would experience from an open window into a Mediterranean garden. Pepper adds a warm, spicy accent around it, immediately indicating the oriental direction of the composition. This duo keeps the opening in tension between the freshness of Europe and the warmth of Asia — exactly where Istanbul stands. After a short while, the heart opens, where jasmine enters with a full, sensual, slightly narcotic trail typical of Turkish jasmine sambac; rose adds a classic, slightly honeyed Anatolian quality — not heavy Arabian, but full and warm; night-blooming cereus is the most characteristic note of the entire composition — an exotic, rare flower that blooms only at night and carries a creamy, slightly vanilla trail with a tropical undertone. This trio forms the sensual heart of Istanbul — a rich floral layer that instantly makes the space cozy and inviting. In the base, vanilla asserts itself, giving the composition a velvety, warm trail — not a dessert sweetness, but a warm, skin-like background like old Turkish silk.
