Cinnamon and clove add a spicy, warm trail that immediately hints at where the fragrance will develop — not dessert-like, but aromatic, slightly old-fashioned in a good way, like a pinch of spice in old tea. After a short while, the heart opens, where violet leads with a soft, powdery, slightly green trail — a layer that keeps the composition in balance between the spicy opening and the dark base.
